T.W. Hunter teachers, administrators, and parents have high academic expectations for our students. T.W. Hunter students consistently meet and exceed the challenges set before them. In this week's email, we wanted to make you aware of some FREE opportunities available to help all students succeed academically:

**Here are some FAQ for you:**
Can my child still participate in the 6th Grade Summer Bridge Program?
We had an overwhelming response and all spots are filled for the Summer Bridge Program on July 28th and July 29th.
What are T.W. Hunter's school hours?
First period begins promptly at 7:40 and the bell rings for dismissal at 2:40.
What time should car riders be dropped off?
Students should be dropped off between 7:00 - 7:30 AM. Students may report to the cafeteria or study in the library until the bell rings. The first bell rings at 7:30 for students to dismiss to class.
How can I leave a note for my child during the school day?
We encourage parents to make all plans for after school before students arrive at school in the morning. If plans change, please call our school's front office and we can deliver a note to your child. We cannot guarantee communication after 2:00 PM due to the business of dismissal. Please do not contact your child through cell phone as students are not supposed to use phones during the school day.
How can I sign up for text messages from Mr. White?
Mr. White's new Remind101 text message list is now set up. Text @TWH15-16 to 81010.
What can we do this summer to help prepare my child for sixth grade?
Go to the T.W. Hunter website at twh.sumnerschools.org and click on "Successful New 6th Graders." There are links to many useful tools for sixth grade students including multiplication, cursive writing, and typing practice.
